From Nice airport there is a quick and easy access to the A8 auto route at Jn 50. Drive on this and pass through two peages (tolls), the first at Cannes and the second at Frejus. Leave the A8 at Jn 36 Le Muy where there is a further peage. The total peage cost is around 7 euros.
After leaving the A8 peage, follow the dual carriageway for approximately 400 metres after which you will see some white lines on the left-hand carriageway directing traffic into the right-hand lane. At this point, immediately indicate to turn left and after the end of the white lines move into the left-hand land. Cross the dual carriageway and take the slip road down to the RN7.
Keep on this road, you will eventually see Hyper U supermarket on the right-hand side, until you see a road-sign for Les Arcs which is before a road which forks off to the right. At the end of this road is a roundabout and you take the second exit onto the D10 opposite, You will pass the old Super U supermarket on your left. Stay on the D10 for approximately two kilometres until you drive around a small roundabout with a large wooden wine barrel in the middle after which you pass Les Vignerons de Taradeau on your left. The road narrows within 100 metres and after a further 100 metres you reach a small crossroad where you turn right at the HOTEL DE VILLE into the road signposted ROUTE de FLAYOSC.
After you pass La Poste on your left, take the next turn right. This is a steepish road for around 500 metres to a T-junction. You will see the Tour de Taradel up on your right and a sign opposite pointing to the Fromagerie elevage Bertin. A local goats cheese farm.
Turn left at the T-junction and in approximately 400 metres you bear right passing a wooden barrier on your left with white goat’s ears mounted on top. Take the first small road on your right which is signposted on your right 'MONTÉE de TARADEL' and again the sign to La Ferme de Chevre, a white goats head with an arrow and signs to les Residences la Tour de Taradel. There are waste bins to the left. Drive in this direction for a further 350 metres where the road turns sharp left. On your right is a road with a blue and white sign 'Residences la Tour de Taradel,' a '20kph' speed restriction and a 'STOP' sign. Continue left and you will see the roadsign 'CHEMIN de BELVESES' and Villa La Romarine, which has provencal green shutters, is sitting high on your right-hand side.
We are number '80' which is sited on our letter box and the nameplate for "Villa La Romarine" can be seen once you have passed the grey entrance gates on your right fixed between two columns bearing white pine cones. The house opposite has a very large nameplate and is called L'Argoulette.
For those who prefer not to travel by air, Eurostar from London Waterloo and Ashford by the TGV high speed train via Paris brings you into Les Arcs only 10 minutes from Taradeau.
